Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a Production Operator to ensure our products meet quality and safety standards on the packaging lines. You will maintain a clean, safe workspace, perform accurate changeovers, and document critical quality data.

A strong emphasis on safety, adherence to GMP, and accurate coding is required as part of daily duties. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented team players who can follow written and verbal instructions, work overtime during peak periods, and read and speak

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Capability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Self-motivation, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Forklift driving skills and the ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
• Physical ability to walk or stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work in temperatures ranging from 60--90°F or more.
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak production periods.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
• Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
