Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for our Columbus production line. The role is on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm or until done) and involves setting up and operating machines to meet established standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of machine operator/production line experience; beverage production preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage production process; read and write; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates production machines and ensures correct specifications for packaging.
• Performs material changeovers and verifies correct raw materials for each product.
• Adheres to OSHA, safety, and Pepsi standards; wears required PPE.
• Communicates status and issues with coworkers, supervisor, and management.
• Performs code checks, taste tests and other quality tests; completes production reports.
• Completes time-off requests and other required paperwork; maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and performs minor maintenance on machines.
