Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run production equipment to meet company standards. You will handle palletizers, depalletizers, denesters, and case packers, ensuring correct packaging specifications and material quality.

The role requires the ability to read and write, perform basic math, and work quickly and independently. Prior beverage production experience is preferred; 1st shift with regular attendance and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 0-1 years machine operator/production line experience; beverage production preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage production process; beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Operates production machines (e.g. palletizer, depalletizer, denester, case packer) per standards and ensures correct specifications.
• Verifies correct raw materials are used and performs material and machine changeovers.
• Adheres to OSHA/safety rules and wears required PPE.
• Communicates status of work and issues to supervisor/management.
• Performs quality checks, code checks, taste tests, and records production data.
• Completes reports and paperwork per established standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area and performs minor maintenance on equipment.
• Overtime as needed to meet workload demands.
