Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. in Gainesville, GA is seeking a full-time packaging line operator to turn on and run support equipment, perform pre-run inspections, load materials, and monitor packaging flow.

You will ensure correct coding, labeling, and box graphics, handle minor changeovers, assist with machine maintenance, and uphold GMP and safety standards. A high school diploma and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior bottling/canning experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able and willing to work a flexible Full Time schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must provide own transportation to locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Turns on all support equipment necessary to run the facility.
• Perform visual inspections and complete documentation during runs.
• Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers into machines.
• Perform minor change-overs and proper material changes.
• Assist line mechanics with repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is on and functioning before starting a run; monitor flow and packaging.
• Verify coding and graphics on bottles, cans, and boxes; inspect closures and lids.
• Adhere to GMP and report quality issues to supervision.
• Shut down equipment at end of shift and keep work area clean.
