Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a production operator to set up, adjust, maintain, and configure processing equipment in our Columbus facility. You will work with production staff to ensure smooth runs and complete required paperwork.

The role requires prior bottling experience, a willingness to work a full-time schedule including weekends, and the ability to pass a drug test and physical exam. Strong GMP compliance and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior bottling/canning experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass a drug test and physical exam.
• Willing to work a flexible full-time schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to locations within service areas.

Responsibilities

• Turn on all support equipment needed to run the facility.
• Perform visual inspections and complete documentation during runs.
• Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, and carriers into machines.
• Perform minor change-overs and material changes on equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to clean and clear debris.
• Assist line mechanics with repairs and tasks as needed.
• Ensure equipment is on and functioning prior to starting a run.
• Inspect packaging for correct box/graphics and coding.
• Monitor material flow and clear jams when necessary.
• Fill glue pots as needed and verify case codes.
• Shut down equipment at end of shift and report issues.
