Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a production line operator to set up, adjust, maintain, and configure processing equipment on the bottling line, coordinating with production staff and completing required paperwork.

The role involves visual inspections, loading materials, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and ensuring correct labeling and packaging. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and follow GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior bottling/canning experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Favorable background and drug test.
• Able and willing to work a flexible full-time schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Own transportation to various locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Turns on all support equipment necessary to run the facility.
• Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to insure defect free work.
• Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers etc. in appropriate machines.
• Performs minor package change-overs on equipment and material changes.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment with regards to cleaning and debris removal.
• Assist line mechanics in machinery repair or other tasks as needed.
• Ensure equipment is on and functioning prior to starting a run and verify proper box/tray coding.
• Monitor flow of materials and clear jams when necessary.
• Verify case code and graphics on containers as scheduled.
• Follow GMP rules and report quality issues promptly.
