Job summary

M-D Building Products is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator in Gainesville, GA. You will run filling and packaging lines, perform quality checks with the lab, and cooperate with Mixing, Scheduling, and Warehouse teams to meet production targets.

You’ll perform minor maintenance and adjust machines, read schedules, and ensure safety with proper PPE. Lift truck certification may be required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain lift truck certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong attendance and punctuality record.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging machinery safely and to quality and production standards.
• Operate and program all related printing machines.
• Perform product quality control checks for each line, working with lab personnel.
• Maintain product quality through machine adjustments.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Read production schedules and communicate requirements.
• Coordinate with Mixing, Scheduling, and Warehouse teams to meet production needs.
• Follow safe workplace practices and PPE requirements.
