Job summary

Capital Distributing in Kyle, TX is seeking a full-time merchandiser to travel to local grocery stores and beverage outlets, stocking and rotating products to ensure visibility and proper shelf placement.

You will move products between backrooms and display floors using pallet jacks, and use company systems to document routing and store execution. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older per state law.
• Reliable personal automobile transportation with valid license and auto insurance.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs when handling keg products or pallet jacks.
• 0–6 months of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Use company systems for routing compliance and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos of displays/backstock to document execution.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Company: Capital Distributing

Shift: Full-time, 5:00 am – 6:00 am start time, weekend availability required

• Pay: $19.00 per hour + overtime + mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes

• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck

• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring

• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts

• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness

• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.

• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.

• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools

• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
