Job summary

Capital Distributing is seeking a full-time merchandiser to stock, display, and rotate products at local grocery and beverage outlets. The role starts early (5:00 am–6:00 am) and requires weekend availability, delivering consistent execution across assigned routes.

You will drive to stores, manage stock with pallet jacks, and document merchandising results with photos. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a HS diploma or GED preferred are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older per state law.
• Reliable, personal auto transportation with valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs for keg handling.
• 0–6 months of general work experience.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock and rotate products on routes.
• Move product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory and freshness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Company: Capital Distributing

Shift: Full-time, 5:00 am – 6:00 am start time, weekend availability required

• Pay: $19.00 per hour + overtime + mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
