Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking a route merchandiser for Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves stocking, rotating, and displaying products at grocery stores and beverage outlets on assigned routes. You will transport goods with pallet jacks and use company systems for route compliance and inventory checks.

The position offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, overtime, and a monthly car allowance with mileage reimbursement. Independent travel within the local area is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting company/state minimums.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs when handling keg products or pallet tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display, and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support proper inventory levels and product freshness.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Company: Chesbay Distributing
• Route: Virginia Beach, VA
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Shift: 5 days/week, weekends required, 6:00 AM start (Full-Time only)
• Pay: $19.00/hr starting + overtime + monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
