Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to join our team in North Carolina. The role focuses on stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking, backroom organization, and moving products to the sales floor, with accurate orders for the next delivery.

Daily duties include merchandising coolers and displays, executing promotions, creating POS signage, and building strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must be customer-oriented and focused.

Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sells and executes all promotions.
• Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
• Develops good customer relations.
• Services all customers as scheduled.
• Orders product and/or runs invoices.
• Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock.
• Other duties as assigned.
