Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking a VP of Manufacturing - Beverage in Charlotte, NC. The role leads two manufacturing directors across seven plants and oversees Health & Safety, Continuous Improvement and Quality while shaping strategies for growth and transformation.

The position demands broad leadership, strong communication, and a track record of operational excellence in a national manufacturing network, with significant travel and a focus on safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or food science
• 10 to 15 years of factory management experience
• At least 3 years managing multi-site manufacturing network (beverage industry experience, strongly preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in sustainable development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed oriented and can multi-task

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a strategic manufacturing plan aligned to overall business strategy and operational objectives
• Develop and implement policies and programs to ensure products are manufactured within schedule and according to established quality and cost standards
• Ensures plant design, workflow, and assembly methods maximize operational efficiency
• Prepares forecasts regarding future facility, equipment, and workforce needs, and ensures manufacturing capacity is sufficient to meet business requirements
• Responsible for planning, sourcing, production, and delivery to ensure product quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
• Reviewing analyses of cost, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and provide regular updates to senior management
