MGM Resorts International is seeking a Beverage Manager for The Corner Store at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. You will lead the beverage team, shape an upscale cocktail program, and drive hospitality excellence for guests and staff.

You will manage staffing, coaching, scheduling, and cost controls while upholding MGM Resorts’ standards of service. A strong leadership presence and strategic hands-on approach are essential.

Formación

• 2+ years of prior beverage management experience or equivalent in casino/hospitality.
• Working knowledge of Culinary Union bargaining agreement.
• Understanding of F&B division, budgeting, P&L, labor costs, entertainment costs and operating expenses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and related software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and oversight for operational functions at The Corner Store, ensuring alignment with strategy and vision for the cocktail program.
• Input into development and implementation of new products, services, technologies, and processes to stay competitive.
• Manage cost controls, budgeting, forecast reporting, and adherence to P&L statements.
• Motivate Employees and encourage participation in promotional concepts and development.
• Coach and provide feedback to help staff develop skills and meet objectives.
• Review ratings on social platforms and develop strategies to improve online reputation.
• Lead HR functions including engagement, talent management, diversity, and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with unions and ensure adherence to policies and bargaining agreements.
• Resolve escalated customer or vendor issues with appropriate service-related resolutions.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.

THE JOB:

As the Beverage Manager for The Corner Store inside The Cosmopolitan, you will set and shape a distinctive, upscale vibe, driving a culture of hospitality, connection, and excellence for both guests and team members. Leading with style, passion, and intention, you will bring direction and energy to the Beverage team while embodying the elevated standards of the MGM Resorts brand. In this role, you will guide the Beverage Staff in achieving operational and financial goals while ensuring consistency and quality across The Corner Store's signature and iconic cocktail program. From crafting exceptional guest experiences to building and developing high-performing teams, you will remain hands‑on in the operation, monitoring performance, overseeing scheduling, coaching and mentoring team members, and maintaining the highest service standards. Success in this position requires a leader who is eager to grow, continuously learn, and inspire others to do the same. You will foster a culture of accountability, development, and innovation while ensuring every cocktail, every interaction, and every guest experience reflects the unique energy and sophistication of the venue. This role is all about creating memorable moments, delivering consistently dynamic service, and making every guest experience feel truly next level.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Provide leadership and oversight for operational functions at The Corner Store, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan, business objectives, and vision for The Corner Store Cocktail Program.
• Provide input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure the company competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
• Responsible for cost controls and necessary reporting requirements, including forecast reports, adherence to budget and Profit & Loss statements, and assisting with other reports as necessary.
• Maintain high level of motivation among all Employees by encouraging feedback and participation in decision-making processes; encourage all Employees to participate in development of promotional and marketing concepts.
• Provide coaching and feedback to help team members develop and strengthen skills and abilities needed to accomplish work objectives.
• Reviews ratings with social media outlets like Yelp and Trip Advisor, with Employees and management to learn how to develop a strategy to increase positive ratings.
• Lead HR functions by driving employee engagement, talent management, diversity, compliance, and adherence to company policies, labor agreements, and workforce representation principles.
• Maintain a working relationship with unions; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements.
• Resolve escalated issues with customers and or vendors with the recommended customer service-related comps as appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate scheduling and staffing; must be able to direct and supervise employees.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience
• Working knowledge of Culinary Union bargaining agreement.
• Understanding of F&B division, budgeting, profit and loss statement, labor costs, entertainment costs, food and beverage costs, and operation expenses.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, balancing operational precision with an authentic, memorable guest experience.
• Able to lead and mentor a team.
• Equally strategic and hands‑on, they identify challenges early and implement solutions swiftly. Resourceful yet refined.
• Strong overall knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to function under time constraints and deadlines with an uncompromising eye for detail.
• Willing to return to fundamentals and approach each day as day one.
• Someone who embraces the productive tension of learning and takes on new challenges with curiosity and think both strategically and tactically.
• Have interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
