Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a Beverage Lead for The Mallory, its premier event venue in New York. You will support beverage operations, assist with scheduling, and help train staff to deliver a premium guest experience at high-end events.

Working with the Beverage Director, you’ll manage bar setup, beverage programs, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced luxury setting, ensuring consistency and compliance with alcohol service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in bar operations or beverage coordination, preferably event-driven.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail techniques.
• Experience with inventory oversight and cost control a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with timely, friendly service and build rapport.
• Demonstrate knowledge of F&B products and communicate them to guests and clients.
• Lead beverage production including house-made ingredients and pre-batched cocktails.
• Manage day-of service and adapt to event needs.
