Job summary

Portland Bottling Company is seeking a Lab Tech to perform laboratory tests and assist in blending beverages to meet product specifications. The role requires 2 years of lab experience, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

On-site position in Clackamas, Oregon with night shifts and a $2 shift differential. Starting pay is $21 per hour with additional benefits including PTO, floating holidays, medical, dental, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• 2 years of lab experience required.
• Food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics of beverages.
• Blending ingredients per formulas to develop and improve beverages.
• Test materials and ingredients for odor, appearance, taste, pH, and other specs.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Prepare test reports and record results on standardized forms.
• Clean laboratory and processing equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
