Job summary

Long Beverage Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a seasoned Controller to oversee accounting, payroll, benefits, regulatory compliance, and FP&A.

You will lead a cross-functional team, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and partner with sales, operations, and supplier partners to optimize financial performance. Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in accounting/finance with 3–5 years in leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP and BI proficiency, and experience in inventory-heavy beverage distribution.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with inventory-intensive beverage distribution or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide review to President.
• Present financial results and KPIs to ownership.
• Maintain strong internal controls and reporting processes.
