Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking a Filler Operator to ensure bottles and cans are filled according to company standards. The role includes operating the filler, changing products, checking codes, and maintaining safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of beverage production process and operation of a computer/tablet.
• Strong internal customer service skills.
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and independently; communicate effectively; build working relationships.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operates Filler Machine and ensures correct product type and quantity.
• Verifies product and date codes printed on the product.
• Adheres to OSHA, safety standards, and company procedures; wears PPE.
• Ensures correct lids/caps are used on cans/bottles.
• Communicates equipment, product quality and process issues to supervisor.
