Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to help execute sales and merchandising initiatives. You will assist in managing accounts, rotating products, and supporting route relief for Sales Representatives.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with auto insurance, and a willingness to travel. Preferred are a Bachelor's degree and beverage industry sales experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year beverage industry sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Develop knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic products, food journals, trends and market share.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit required reports and surveys by due dates.
• Manage inventory costs according to policy.
• Understand MVP Standards and monitor competitive activity.
