Job summary

The Sheraton San Diego Resort is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Brewery X operations within the hotel’s Food & Beverage Leadership Team. The role focuses on driving daily operational and financial success of the restaurant in partnership with the Brewery X General Manager.

The salary for this position is $74,000, with duties including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring service excellence aligned with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food & beverage operations.
• Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor departmental payroll and supply expenses with the GM.
• Ensure proper procedures for ordering, pouring, and cashiering.
• Manage monthly inventory and liquor room organization.
• Maintain liquor par levels in beverage areas.
• Coordinate food and beverage events and promotions.
• Hold pre-shift meetings with staff and report to stations.
• Communicate with managers and MOD for consistency.
• Document performance and provide timely counseling.
