Job summary

Founders-National-Golf-LL is seeking a friendly food and beverage associate to serve guests on the golf course, handle cash, and assist with light cooking. You will ensure quality service and maintain inventory between rounds while adhering to safety rules.

Responsibilities include operating the register, stocking the beverage cart, and performing opening/closing duties. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required to support busy golf events.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience with a golf facility preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and stamina to stand during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in an efficient, timely, and professional manner.
• Operate a cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Organize and account for products and supplies.
• Operate a beverage cart when needed and keep it properly stocked.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and account for daily cash bank.
• Rotate perishable products and discard expired items.
• Maintain a clean snack bar area throughout the day and handle trash at shift end.
• Assist golfers with food and beverage needs courteously and provide light cooking when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Serves food and beverages to guests in an efficient, timely, and professional manner.• Operate a cash register and follow cash handling procedures.• Organize and account for products and supplies.• Operate a beverage cart when needed and keep it properly stocked.• Complete all required opening and closing procedures.• Accountable for daily cash bank.• Rotates all perishable products and discards all expired products.• Keeps snack bar area clean and orderly throughout the day.• Removes all trash inside and outside at the end of shift.• Operates the grill to prepare menu items to serve to guests.• Secure all keys in proper designated location at the end of shift.• Ensures all food and beverage products are always kept in quality order.• Knowledgeable in serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with state law.• Responsible for cash deposit and correct paperwork accounting at end of shift.• Assist golfers with all food and beverage needs in a courteous manner.• Occasional shifts on beverage cart when needed.• Promotes a positive relationship with team members in all departments.• Light cooking and food preparation.Safety Responsibilities and RequirementsActively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordancewith state and federal law.• Report safety or hazard concerns to management immediately.• Report any work-related injury to management immediately.• Take personal responsibility for safety every day.Qualification-Requirements Experience - Education• Previous food and beverage experience with a golf facility preferred.• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.• Excellent communication skills.• Ability to stand throughout a shift.
