Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking an experienced production supervisor to oversee staffing in the Production Department and to cover Facility Manager duties when needed. You will coordinate between production crews and staff on policies, prioritize work, and drive process improvements, while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication across all levels.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Previous management/supervisory experiences a must.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written and verbal.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand, including hourly and salary roles.
• Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in his/her absence.
• Serve as liaison between production personnel and staff on communication, decisions, and policies.
• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments.
• Ensure continuous improvement of methods and processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and regulations; lead by example.
• Participate in food safety auditing in a timely manner.
• Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.
