Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a BESS Project Manager for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, FL. You will coordinate internal and external resources across Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction activities for Battery Energy Storage System projects.

You will report to the onsite Manager and collaborate with environmental, regulatory, and procurement teams while supporting PPA and GIA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting with experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and battery projects. We prefer PMP Certification and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience: 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate matrixed project development teams to ensure resources focus on the right activity to meet schedule.
• Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection to identify and incorporate variables.
• Develop the project's technical scope.
• Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating and procurement requirements.
• Support the E&C engineering team with technical attributes to develop designs.
• Support the E&C cost estimating team for development of financial model.
• Present the financial model to business units and manage it through executive budget approvals.
• Negotiate and implement commercial contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC construction services.
• Uphold and represent E&C's interests on assigned projects.
• Communicate with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulatory Agencies, Local Communities, and team members.
• Occasional travel to project locations and to support Development with local hearings.
