Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, and service energy storage systems in customer sites.

You will troubleshoot, repair and analyze BESS equipment, including third-party products, while communicating clearly with customers and documenting all activities. Role involves heavy travel (domestic and international) up to 100% of the time for multi-week deployments, and requires working with HV DC electricity and complex software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years field experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics or network communications recommended.
• Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred.
• Prior experience in the renewable industry, strongly preferred.
• NFPA70E or similar electrical safety training is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and analyze Eos commercial BESS as well as third-party products in the field, remote via email, telephone and remote support tools, and site visits.
• Use Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information accurately.
• Write reports, train customers, and respond to customer concerns regarding system functionality and performance.
• Develop detailed knowledge of Eos products and third-party products sold by Eos.
• Acceptance, performance testing, startup/shutdown, commissioning, and turnarounds of BESS.
