Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) seeks a Bertha Certified Test Operator to support its autonomous vehicle testing programs across multiple sites. The role focuses on safe operation, data collection, and collaboration with engineering teams.

You will monitor vehicles, log anomalies, engage with ride-hailing passengers as part of the AV experience, and work varied shifts to ensure comprehensive route testing in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bertha Certification for Autonomous Vehicle Testing.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean record and at least 3 years of experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent judgment, focus, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles with a focus on safety and system performance.
• Provide real-time observations and log anomalies using dedicated software tools.
• Engage with ride-hailing passengers as part of the AV experience.
• Execute route testing in diverse environments, including city and highway scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with Bertha certification protocols and data integrity standards.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
