Job summary

Tri‑Cities Chaplaincy seeks a Bereavement Supervisor to lead all bereavement programs, including Cork's Place and adult bereavement initiatives, under the COO. You will recruit and train staff, supervise volunteers, and ensure compassionate, non-clinical grief support aligned with the agency’s mission.

Role includes budget oversight, community engagement, and reporting to funders. Requires degree and leadership experience; evenings/weekends as needed, with on-site duties in Kennewick, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology, social work, education, theology, business, management, or equivalent.
• Two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise all aspects of bereavement programs and demonstrate program effectiveness.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and service delivery.
• Manage budgets and fundraising goals for the program.
• Collaborate with development team on donor relations and grant writing.
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives.
• Lead and train staff and volunteers; provide ongoing support and supervision.
