Job summary

LILT is seeking experienced Media and Information Services specialists to support an AI benchmarking project focused on Bengali for Indian media ecosystems. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will design and review realistic scenarios across newsrooms, production, and digital content platforms.

Native Bengali with strong professional English, 5+ years in media or related fields, and the ability to work as a 1099 contractor without benefits.

Qualifications

• Native Bengali with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years in Media, Broadcasting, Journalism, Content Production, Publishing, or Audiovisual Operations.
• Background in roles: Audio/Video Production, Editing, Film & Video Editing, Journalism, News Reporting, Content Production, Directing, Broadcast Operations, or Media Management.
• Strong understanding of editorial workflows, production processes, media standards, audience communication, and Indian media environments.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic Media and Information Services scenarios in Bengali or English grounded in Indian operational contexts (e.g., newsroom coordination, video production workflows, editorial reviews, live broadcast operations, content planning, script development, media compliance, audiovisual troubleshooting)
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for editorial decision-making, content analysis, production coordination, and communication tasks
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, editorial quality, cultural appropriateness, and operational realism
• Contribute to “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices across Indian journalism, broadcasting, digital media, and content production environments
