Job summary

Geiger is seeking a Benefits and Wellbeing Administrator to join the People Team in Lewiston, Maine. You will manage day-to-day benefits operations, coordinate wellbeing programs, and work with Payroll, Finance, brokers, and carriers to ensure accurate, compliant administration.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in self-funded plans, ERISA/ACA familiarity, and experience with ADP Workforce Now. This on-site role emphasizes precise record-keeping, timely communications, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

Five or more years of hands-on experience administering self-funded employee benefit plans in a multi-state setting.
Experience with benefits compliance, regulatory filings, retirement-plan administration, and internal or external audits.

Responsibilities

Administer medical, dental, vision, life, FMLA and disability, HSA/FSA, EAP, COBRA, voluntary benefits, and related programs.
Process enrollments, life events, and benefit changes in ADP and vendor systems, and assist employees with coverage, eligibility, deductions and claims questions.
Coordinate annual open enrollment, from timelines and system testing to employee communications and post-enrollment audits.
