Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of benefits administration experience, including open enrollment.
• Strong understanding of group health, retirement plan compliance, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k)).
• Lead annual open enrollment, communications, timelines, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate benefits education and vendor management with carriers and brokers.
• Respond to inquiries on eligibility, coverage, and claims; provide timely support.
• Oversee onboarding and changes due to life events; maintain HRIS data accuracy.
• Audit benefits invoices; coordinate with Payroll and Finance for timely payment.
• Monitor utilization trends; propose cost-containment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS guidelines.
• Support wellness program design and evaluation to promote well-being.
• Travel to different sites as needed.
