Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Benefits Support Specialist to provide professional support to participants with questions about their benefits and plan provisions. This fully remote role handles inbound calls, with some outbound calls, guiding participants through forms and processes.

Training is comprehensive and virtual; scheduled hours are 8:00 AM–10:00 PM, full-time remote work, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and client-specific guidance.

• Complete callbacks in a timely manner and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Document participant interactions by creating detailed and accurate notes in the case management system.
• Meet established timeliness and accuracy standards.
• Follow applicable call center metrics, procedures, and guidelines.
• Adapt to client-specific processes and requirements when supporting participants.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive participant and client information.
• Follow all applicable company, client, privacy, and security policies and standards.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Conduent is seeking a Benefits Support Specialist to provide professional support to participants with questions related to their benefits and plan provisions.

In this fully remote position, you will assist participants primarily through inbound telephone calls, with some outbound calls as needed. You will help participants understand their plan provisions, answer questions, complete transactions, explain applicable forms, and provide guidance throughout the process.

This role supports a major client and requires the ability to learn and follow established procedures while providing accurate, helpful, and professional service. The position also offers relatively minimal call volume compared with traditional high-volume call center environments.

If you enjoy helping people, communicating clearly, solving problems, and working independently, this role provides an opportunity to develop valuable experience in benefits administration and participant support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with defined benefit pension plans.
• Previous benefits administration experience.
• Previous customer service or call center experience.
• Experience supporting retirement, pension, or employee benefit programs.

Training:

Comprehensive virtual training is provided for this position.

Training is expected to last approximately 7–8 weeks and will be completed virtually. Additional training schedule details will be provided during the hiring process.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time, work-from-home position.

Scheduled hours will fall between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
