Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive Benefits management experience.
• Hands-on experience managing self-funded/self-insured employer plans.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• PHR/SPHR Certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and coordinate Benefits programs and projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with management as SME on benefits.
• Oversee leave management and compliance with contracts.
• Manage retirement programs and coordination with TPAs.
• Coordinate with actuaries for annual retirement and workers' compensation studies.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide data and support for audits.
• Lead other duties as assigned.
