Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services is seeking a Benefits Specialist to assist in implementing and administering our benefits programs. The role reports to the Benefits Manager and focuses on compliant administration, communication, and data analysis for a large workforce.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 2 years of HR experience, plus Workday and strong Excel skills. You will conduct employee sessions, manage enrollments, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with two years of HR experience administering benefits.
• Experience administering and implementing benefit programs in a large organization is ideal.
• Workday experience is required; proficient in MS Word and Excel and HRIS knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, COBRA and related employment laws.
• Strong confidentiality and professional demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administers benefit programs in compliance with policies and insurance contracts.
• Designs, evaluates and updates benefits processes for currency and compliance.
• Evaluates services and options offered by benefit programs and provides data.
• Assists with benefits communications and meetings for diverse employees.
• Monitors program effectiveness and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees monthly billing, reconciliation, and disputes with insurers and accounts payable.
• Ensures eligibility status changes are communicated.
• Processes enrollments, changes, COBRA, and payroll deductions as needed.
• Meets with employees to communicate benefits and provide guidance.
• Conducts orientations and annual open enrollment sessions for employees.
• Compiles monthly billing reports and resolves disputes with insurers.
