Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking an Employee Benefit Specialist to service a book of business, lead vendor implementations, and develop open enrollment communications. You will manage data for renewals and RFPs, and be a key contact for benefit-related inquiries.

The role involves interpreting benefit plan materials, coordinating with carriers, and supporting client meetings. Strong organization and client service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree required with a major or minor in Risk Management or HR strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health and Benefits required.
• Life and Health License preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients and consulting team to provide excellent day-to-day service.
• Maintain and audit client information in Image Right; ensure accuracy.
• Prepare client renewal letters and manage data for renewals and RFPs.
• Review SBCs, SPD, and benefit materials for accuracy across client book of business.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to obtain required data on time.
• Attend client meetings and participate in staff trainings as needed.
