Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking an Senior Associate Consultant in Employee Benefits to manage a portfolio of client accounts, analyze plans and financials, and support renewal decisions. The role collaborates with EB Consultants to ensure client goals alignment and revenue growth.

The position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with extensive experience in health and welfare plans and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of middle market and/or large group Employee Benefits service experience.
• Experience in Health & Welfare plan design and benchmarking.
• Knowledge of self-insured and fully insured plans.
• Experience with private and public sector clients.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support EB Consultant to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze rate renewals and year-end financials; prepare detailed analyses.
• Develop bid specifications, manage RFPs, and present recommendations.
• Analyze benefit programs and develop plan design recommendations.
• Mentor and back up Associate Consultants and Client Service Associates.
