Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP systems.

Acara Solutions is looking for a Benefits Specialist with ADP experience for one of our clients in North Phoenix, AZ. This position is contract to hire.


Pay: $30-$35 hourly


Benefits Coordinator

Job Summary

The Billing and Benefits Coordinator is responsible for managing the billing processes and coordinating employee benefits programs. This role ensures accurate and billing from insurance providers, assists employees with benefits enrollment, and acts as a liaison between employees, insurance carriers, and the company.


Key Responsibilities

Benefits Coordination


  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to manage benefits plans and resolve any issues.

  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits policies to new employees.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits.

  • Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing.

  • Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions.

  • Work closely with the finance department to ensure proper accounting of billed amounts.

  • Generate regular billing reports and summaries for management.


General Duties


  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

  • Stay informed about changes in billing and benefits regulations and best practices.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure cohesive administration of benefits and billing processes.


Perform other related duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications


  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in billing and benefits coordination, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and insurance benefits administration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Experience with ADP systems
