Qualifications

  • 2+ years in benefits administration with knowledge of plans and compliance.
  • MS Office Suite including MS Excel; proficiency in PrismHR preferred.
  • PI/EOE experience preferred; strong communication and customer service.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs for clients.
  • Build and maintain client/worksite employee relationships.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
  • Generate reports and audit data to identify trends.
  • Oversee Open Enrollment, claims resolution, and eligibility checks.

About The Role

At Questco, the Benefits Specialist position is a vital role to our organization, as it involves managing and administering our employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of benefits regulations and procedures.

What You'll Work On
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and worksite employees, providing expert advice and support.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Ensuring data accuracy, generating reports, and conducting audits to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Process Management: Overseeing and optimizing key benefit processes, such as Open Enrollment, claims resolution, and eligibility verification.
  • Benefits Expertise: Possessing a deep understanding of benefits regulations, plans, and procedures to effectively guide and assist clients and employees.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related role, with a strong understanding of benefit plans and benefits compliance principles and practices.
  • MS Office Suite experience needed, including MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly PrismHR, strongly preferred.
  • Prior PEO experience preferred, preferably in Benefits.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
