Job summary

M Culinary Concepts is seeking an experienced HR Specialist – Benefits & Total Rewards to join our Phoenix team. You will manage comprehensive benefits programs, coordinate Open Enrollment, and advise employees on options to maximize their total rewards.

You will also support HR compliance, wellness initiatives, and HRIS data integrity, while collaborating across departments to enhance employee experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HR benefits experience; hospitality/foodservice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
• Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable presenting and facilitating group training sessions.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and other employee benefit programs.
• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment and educate employees on benefit options.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution.
• Support administration of 401(k), ESOP, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA compliance programs.
• Ensure benefit deductions, reporting, and filings are accurate and audit-ready.
• Manage employee wellness initiatives and company wellness programs.
• Manage Workers' Compensation claims from injury through return-to-work.
• Perform HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy for employees and benefits.

What You’ll Do

As our HR Specialist – Benefits, you'll play an important role in supporting our employees throughout their employment journey by:

• Administering health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and other employee benefit programs
• Coordinating annual Open Enrollment and educating employees on benefit options
• Serving as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution
