Pay Rate: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday

The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for administering and supporting employee benefit programs, ensuring accurate enrollment processing, employee communication, compliance, and ongoing benefits support. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and timely
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and provide outstanding customer support
Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications
Maintain and audit benefit records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Partner with benefit providers and vendors to resolve employee and plan-related issues
Assist with leave of absence and benefits continuation processes
Support compliance efforts related to ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations
Generate and analyze benefits reports as needed
Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions and benefit administration
4+ years of benefits administration experience required
Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs and related regulations
Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Benefits certifications such as CEBS, CBP, or related credentials
Experience supporting open enrollment and vendor management activities
