A Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering and supporting the organization’s employee benefits programs. This role ensures employees receive accurate information, timely assistance, and consistent service related to benefit plans such as health insurance, retirement programs, wellness initiatives, and leave policies. The specialist works closely with HR, payroll, vendors, and employees to ensure benefits processes run smoothly and comply with all regulations and company policies.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $37,377 -$ 65,408 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Associate’s degree, typically in Human Resources or relevant field from an appropriately accredited institution and 1 year of experience required; or 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
