Job summary

Frazer Jones is seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator for a 5-month contract-to-hire. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite, supporting about 600 employees across the U.S. and Canada.

You will administer health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs, manage enrollments, respond to questions, and coordinate open enrollment. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of benefits experience, strong knowledge of benefit plans, and proficiency with HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of benefits administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Experience supporting Canadian benefits programs is preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer health, welfare, retirement, and leave benefit programs for U.S. and Canadian employees.
  • Process benefit enrollments, life event changes, terminations, and eligibility updates.
  • Respond to employee questions and provide guidance on benefit offerings and policies.
  • Coordinate and support annual open enrollment activities.
  • Partner with carriers, brokers, payroll, and HR team members to resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Perform benefits audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and proper payroll deductions.
  • Maintain employee records and benefits information within HRIS systems.
  • Assist with employee communications, educational materials, and benefits-related reporting.
  • Support compliance initiatives and benefits documentation requirements.

Title: Benefits Administrator (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite

Duration: 5-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire

Compensation: $35-$38/hour

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to join their Human Resources team and support a workforce of approximately 600 employees across the U.S. and Canada. This role will focus on the administration and delivery of employee benefit programs, serving as a key resource for employees while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
