Job summary

BeneSys, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a full-time call center specialist to handle participant and dependent inquiries about eligibility and enrollment, and to determine and maintain eligibility for health care and benefits.

Responsibilities include explaining plan rules, processing enrollment documents, and coordinating with vendors and providers. Strong customer service and software skills are essential; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills are a must.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer participant calls, mail participant requests and resolve participant issues.
• Explain eligibility rules to members.
• Send enrollment documents to members adding children or a spouse.
• Enrollment verifications.
• Status medical, dental and vision claims for members and some providers.
• Maintain records of all interactions with members/providers.
• Make outgoing calls to members, providers, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
