BENEFITS REPRESENTATIVE 2, Human Resources, counsels MIT faculty, staff, retirees, beneficiaries and vested terminated employees on various HR and benefit inquiries related to plan eligibility, plan provisions and options, and enrollment and change processes. Will respond to inquiries regarding MIT’s benefits plans requiring an in-depth understanding of benefits policies and procedures, inquiries may be complex and require additional research. Processes benefit plan enrollments, changes, qualified status changes and cancellations of active employee health, dental, vision, life and FSA benefits; and drives process efficiency across Benefits by creating department process documentation and workflow charts (if applicable) and recommends fixes to processes where applicable.
