Job summary

CooperVision in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Benefits Program Manager to oversee employee benefits programs and reporting. This role requires coordinating with external vendors and internal partners to maintain plan records and ensure compliance.

You will manage annual open enrollments, communicate plan options, and support mergers or acquisitions affecting benefits, with a focus on improving employee experience and plan performance.

Qualifications

• Lead and serve as main point of contact for Puerto Rico employee benefits programs.
• Coordinate day-to-day administration of Puerto Rico benefits programs with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Implement, administer, and communicate benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, voluntary programs, EAP, retirement plan, and COBRA.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize employee experience, plan performance and compliance.
• Disseminate mandatory notices and lead benefit communications to the organization.
• Manage annual Open Enrollments—planning communications, webinars, and portal updates; coordinate with HR partners.
• Assist with evaluating existing benefit programs against peers to determine competitiveness and trends.
• Support merger/acquisition initiatives impacting benefits; facilitate integration and transition.
• Research and evaluate company benefits to recommend improvements and new programs.

Responsibilities

• Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize employee experience, plan performance and compliance and continually improve processes.
• Disseminate mandatory notices and lead benefit communications to the organization.
• Manage all aspects of annual Open Enrollments—planning communications, scheduling webinars, updating the benefits portal, coordinating with HR partners and answering employee questions.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives with leadership and partners for successful integration and transition of benefits.
• Research and evaluate company benefits to recommend improvements and new programs.
