Job summary

Pittsburgh Public Schools is seeking a Manager of Benefits to lead day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life and voluntary benefits. You will oversee enrollment, leave, retiree billing, ACA responsibilities, and wellness initiatives while supporting open enrollment and supplier audits.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 5+ years in benefits with 3+ years supervisory, and strong HRIS/Munis experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Five years of relevant HR/benefits experience, including at least three years supervisory.
• Ten years benefits oversight in a centralized HR department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary Benefits Office contact and respond to inquiries.
• Enter benefit enrollments into Munis and process changes.
• Oversee ACA process and part-time enrollment communications.
• Manage open enrollment and audits with providers.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives and benefits communications.
