Canon Business Process Services seeks a seasoned Benefits Administrator to oversee health, welfare and retirement plans, ensuring accurate administration and efficient leave benefits to minimize absence and cost. The role also acts in the absence of the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities include eligibility review, enrollment resolution, vendor invoicing, open enrollment materials, and compliance with ERISA/HIPAA. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in benefits administration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge.
• 5+ years Benefits Administration experience with knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA and related laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and MS Access.
• Knowledge of AS400 Infinium or similar HRIS system preferred.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Oversee benefit carrier performance and plan administration.
• Review eligibility, enrollment, and payroll deduction issues and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Review and pay benefit vendor invoices including relevant programs.
• Prepare SPD and Open Enrollment materials and maintain plan procedures.
• Assist with dependent eligibility audits and leave management processes.
• Advise and train HR representatives on disability and workers’ comp laws.
