Job summary

Gusto in Denver is seeking a Broker Integration Advocate to own the customer journey from signup to final benefits implementation, ensuring readiness and on-time delivery.

You’ll guide small business owners through complex choices, own the onboarding journey, coordinate with internal and external partners, review eligibility, build policies, manage enrollments, and ensure accuracy and compliance while delivering clear, proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional work experience in healthcare, health insurance brokerage, hospitality, or a fast-paced startup.
• AI tools and automation are part of how this team works; willingness to learn and use tools like Glean and Gemini.
• Data-driven mindset with a track record of meeting KPIs in customer success.
• Strong account management experience with high-volume business and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with brokers, carriers, and customers.
• Adaptability and ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously or with teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive consultative outreach to keep customer onboarding on track.
• Be a real partner to customers with accessible, responsive communication.
• Own onboarding journey and coordinate with internal and external partners for a smooth integration.
• Review customer data against carrier eligibility standards to mitigate errors.
• Own the end-to-end onboarding process: eligibility, information gathering, policy building, enrollments, and ongoing updates.
