Job summary

Exol is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to own the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs, as well as wellness initiatives. This role serves as the benefits SME, ensuring best-in-class education, communication, and compliance across the organization.

The role partners with brokers and vendors, leads annual renewals and open enrollment, and ensures accurate data management in Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in benefits administration and program management.
• Experience administering health and welfare programs, retirement plans, leave programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Experience working with HRIS, preferably Workday.
• Strong knowledge of benefits compliance, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated credibility as a benefits subject matter expert and trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and leave programs.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with insurance brokers, plan administrators, and third-party vendors to ensure effective program management and service delivery.
• Lead annual benefits renewals and open enrollment, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure offerings are competitive, compliant, and cost-effective.
• Administer employee wellness initiatives and develop programs that support wellbeing and engagement.
• Manage benefit enrollments, COBRA, terminations, beneficiary updates, disability claims, retirement transactions, loans, hardship withdrawals, and related activities.
• Maintain and improve benefits policies, procedures, documentation, and administrative processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including audits and reporting.
• Coordinate transfer and validation of benefits-related data through Workday and external vendors.
