Benefits Manager

We are PEAC Solutions—large enough to finance the globe, yet small enough to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers. We believe in the power of partnership and the promise of possibility. Our purpose is to fuel growth by providing smart, flexible lending solutions that help businesses overcome obstacles and seize new opportunities. Backed by HPS Investment Partners, a leading global investment firm, we offer equipment financing, working capital, and inventory lending solutions that keep businesses moving forward. As the world’s largest independent equipment finance company, we are expanding our global footprint—and we are doing it with purpose, grit, and a commitment to those we serve.

You are someone who thrives in an environment where ambition meets action. You bring curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of accountability. You see challenges as opportunities and believe in making an impact for customers, for your team, and for the business. If you are looking to be a part of a company that values partnership over hierarchy and purpose over routine, your next chapter could start here.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Benefits Manager plays a key role in managing and enhancing PEAC’s employee benefits, wellness, and compensation programs. This position is responsible for ensuring that benefit offerings are competitive, compliant, well-communicated, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, this role provides day-to-day dotted-line oversight of the part-time Payroll Specialist, who is responsible for processing PEAC’s payroll for approximately 300 employees in 20+ states within the United States. The Benefits Manager maintains a primary focus on benefits and compensation programs, while ensuring payroll-related processes are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the administration, communication, and continuous improvement of PEAC’s employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, leave, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
  • Evaluate benefit offerings and recommend enhancements to support employee attraction, retention, engagement, and well-being.
  • Lead PEAC’s annual benefits open enrollment, including employee communications, training, system updates, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and vendors; monitor service levels, resolve issues, and support effective program delivery.
  • Ensure benefits and related total rewards programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, and related requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and provide training, education, and support to employees and managers on benefits, wellness, compensation, and related total rewards topics.
  • Support compensation and annual review processes, including merit increases, promotions, pay changes, bonus awards, position pricing, and recommendations that promote internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, reports, dashboards, communications, and standard operating procedures related to benefits, wellness, compensation, payroll coordination, vendor management, and open enrollment.
  • Provide day-to-day dotted-line oversight to the part-time Payroll Specialist, including guidance, prioritization, issue resolution, payroll review, and support for payroll-related audits.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll Specialist to help ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including wages, salaries, benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, payroll updates, and other payroll-related items.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits, total rewards compensation, or a related human resources function.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits principles, practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now, and benefits administration platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, vendors, brokers, and leadership.
  • Experience supporting or overseeing multi-state payroll processes is preferred; direct ownership of complex payroll processing is not required.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to integrity and maintains strict confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
