Job summary

Mohegan Sun seeks a Benefits Administrator to manage Leaves of Absence, guide employees on benefits, and coordinate enrollment and claims processes. The role supports the retirement program and ensures accurate tracking of LOA and Workers’ Compensation across divisions.

The candidate will handle HIPAA-compliant enrollments, assist in death claim processing, and may supervise Benefits Representatives while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in benefits administration.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public certification.
• Knowledge of FMLA administration.
• HIPAA certification knowledge.
• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun's insurance packages and 401(k)/retirement plan.

Responsibilities

• Provides employees with guidance and support on all employee benefits and Leaves of Absence.
• Assists in the administration of the retirement program and tracks LOA and Workers’ Compensation.
• Assists with processing of death claims and related tasks.
• Oversees enrollments in benefit programs and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Assists in supervising and training the Benefits Representatives.
