Job summary

Gallatin County seeks a Benefits Coordinator to support the Benefits Manager in county-wide benefits administration and employee leave management. You will provide customer service to county employees and assist with Open Enrollment and health benefits enrollment.

This role supports the HR Department in routine operations, events, and policy compliance, acting as a technical assistant for employees and retirees and coordinating with MPERA as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR benefits administration preferred.
• Familiarity with FMLA/HIPAA is advantageous.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in benefits administration and employee leave processing.
• Coordinate enrollment activities and open enrollment events.
• Provide guidance on health, retirement, and other benefits.
• Support payroll coordination and regulatory compliance.
