Job summary

Total Sand Services, LLC (TSS) is hiring a Benefits Analyst to manage day-to-day employee benefits and leave programs. You will be the primary contact for benefits questions, coordinate enrollment activities, and ensure compliance across 401(k), ACA, and applicable laws.

Strong HRIS skills and confidentiality are essential. You will administer benefit plans, manage open enrollment, coordinate with payroll on deductions, and support annual reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, or related field.
• Entry-level role; internship or prior admin or HR support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits compliance and leave laws at federal, state and local levels.
• Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for benefits and leave questions, coordinating with brokers, carriers, and vendors.
• Administer day-to-day benefit plans including new hire enrollment, life events, and terminations; reconcile invoices and deductions.
• Set up and manage annual open enrollment with system configuration and communications.
• Coordinate leave programs with third-party administrator; track status and return-to-work dates.
• Administer the company’s 401(k) plan including enrollments, changes, distributions, and audits.
• Maintain ACA compliance and prepare annual reporting (1094-C, 1095-C, Form 5500).
• Maintain confidential benefit and leave records and handle special projects.
